We love having Scott back year after year! By Children's Montessori Academy Blog Hocus Pocus MagazineJuly 14, 20160 Back to Home I invited Scott to visit my Montessori preschool on our last day of school. Scott had visited us in the past and we were very happy to have him back again. We have had a few magicians put on shows for us, yet no one can seem to capture the children's imaginations quite like he does. When I initially contacted him, he asked me questions about the ages of the children in the group and other questions to gauge their interests. The jokes were spot on for their ages. Nothing went over their heads. Scott had them in the palm of his hand for the entire show. I was pleasantly surprised to see that even the children who usually have trouble focusing in a group were attentive and still during his performance. Perhaps Scott should be with us everyday! There was a lot of audience participation and Scott even taught the children some magic. The biggest surprise of all was meeting Scott's rabbit, Sir Walken. The children enjoyed petting him. Sir Walken is so calm. We are looking forward to having Scott back at our school again next year. He is our number one magician!
