Pink Shirt Day School Speaker

I think you can agree, no matter where you stand politically, that there is a lot of division these days. Now more than ever we need to come together, embrace, accept and support each other. We needn’t accept the hate, ignorance, fear and prejudice that seems to abound. We need to instead foster empathy and celebrate our diversity.

Pink Shirt Day is one of those rare events when massive amounts of people around the world stand together, united, in solidarity. Bullying can be extremely isolating, so for those students to see their entire school stand in solidarity against bullying, is very liberating.

“The world is not dangerous because of those who do harm, but because of those who look at it without doing anything.” – Albert Einstein

School Heroes Unite, like Pink Shirt Day, has been created to foster empathy, celebrate diversity, promote inclusion, and rally heroes. To be a bystander is a choice, as it is to be a hero. Through the use of magic, music, video, storytelling and audience participation, School Heroes Unite will engage, captivate and empower your students.

Scott Dietrich, School Heroes Unite Founder, and Pink Shirt Day School Speaker, has been voted Toronto, the GTA and Halton Regions “Best Children’s Entertainer” for the past eight years by the readers of City Parent Magazine. If you’d like Pink Shirt Day’s message to stick this year, book Scott, and his School Heroes Unite program today! Also a great PRO Grant Idea.
