Mommy Blogger Natasha Macina has more than a few tricks up her sleeve when it comes to throwing a magic themed birthday party.
When Natasha contacted me to perform magic at her son’s birthday party I knew it was going to be epic. I had the privilege of performing at her daughter’s 1st birthday only one year earlier and what a party it was
.
With a colour scheme of pink and gold, Natasha had transformed an old community center hall into a grand ballroom fit for her little princess. Natasha and her daughter’s assistance in my magic show for the production of my live rabbit topped off the afternoon.
For her son’s magic themed birthday party, she used a red and black colour scheme. These are both classic magic colours, being the colour of playing cards and top hats, both of which were used in my show. Her son played a starring role throughout the performance and afterward I made him a 5 foot tall, custom built, birthday balloon hat.
What’s even more amazing is that she was able to throw these elaborate themed birthday parties on a very reasonable budget. Most of her supplies came from the Dollar Tree, Dollarama and Party City. With a little creativity and some craft time spent prepping with the family, her vision materialized as if by magic.
Throwing a magic themed birthday party doesn’t need to be complicated, but it should be magical. Having been voted Toronto’s Best Children’s Entertainer for the past 8 years, I’d love to add a little magic to your child’s next party, book today 1-866-686-2442.
