I wholeheartedly endorse School Heroes Unite, Bullying Prevention Program
On November 23rd, 2016, the Parent Council of St. Columba Catholic Elementary School welcomed Scott and his School Heroes Unite Program. We held 2 sessions, the primary students in one session and the juniors and intermediates in the other.

WOW! The first word that comes to mind in describing the experience. Scott, telling his personal story, using audience participation and a bit of magic engaged the students and demonstrated what it means to Stand Up to Bullying. He graciously entertained the kindergarten students with a condensed version and a magic trick which was undoubtedly the highlight of their day.

Together with the students, a Plan of Action was created and shared in each classroom.

In today’s school society, this program is extremely relevant and necessary. The parent council had blue ribbons stating, “I’m a St. Columba Hero” made and distributed to each student and teacher. The message is repeated throughout the school of what it takes to be a Hero.

I wholeheartedly endorse Scott’s program. The students today need to know that bullying is not acceptable, but at the same time they need to be empowered and that is exactly what Scott does….Empowers each student to be a hero.
